The Chace People Team is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our client's luxury lifestyle and wellness retreat. This is an amazing time to join the pre-opening team of this new, unique luxury hospitality destination. The role will oversee housekeeping services across internal and external hospitality areas, ensuring a welcoming and pristine environment for all guests. The position offers an exciting opportunity to represent the brand as an ambassador and contribute to the growth and enhancement of a top-tier retreat experience.

Job Overview:

The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead and manage the housekeeping operations to the highest standards, covering wellness facilities, guest rooms, public areas, and external spaces. This role requires close collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team and other departments to ensure seamless operations, maintaining both the visual and physical appeal of the estate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all housekeeping services, ensuring compliance with set standards for cleaning, sanitising, and organisation of rooms and public areas.
  • Control inventory and replenishment of housekeeping supplies for guests and staff.
  • Implement detailed cleaning schedules and training programs to ensure consistent delivery of high-standard housekeeping services.
  • Liaise with third-party service providers for linen, laundry, and specialist cleaning services.
  • Conduct monthly audits of housekeeping assets and make recommendations for improvements where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including correct use and storage of chemicals (COSHH) and safe operational procedures.
  • Monitor and coordinate waste disposal, including the concealed movement of refuse from designated areas.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing housekeeping services in a hospitality or wellness environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including COSHH, manual handling, and first aid, along with essential training in Fire Safety, Cleaning, and Manual Lifting.
  • Ability to manage and train staff to deliver high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage schedules and resources effectively.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and occasionally outdoors.

This role requires a proactive, enthusiastic individual who can work both independently and as part of a team. Weekend and evening work will be required to meet the demands of the role. The successful candidate must maintain a presentable appearance, reflecting the ethos of our client’s luxury lifestyle & wellness retreat.
