SENIOR CHEF LEADER: HEALTH AND NUTRITION-FOCUSED PRIVATE CHEF

 

  • Salary: $150,000 gross p.a.

The Chace People team has been instructed to source a seasoned Senior Chef Leader boasting at least 6 years of professional experience in health and nutrition-oriented culinary arts. Based in a picturesque town in Ohio, you’ll regularly travel to additional residences within the US. This role is open to global candidates with a relocation package to ensure international expertise and culinary flair.

In a health-centric kitchen, you’ll be joining a team which is dedicated to crafting delectable and nutritious meals that resonate with the essence of well-being. Collaborating closely with a garden team, you’ll be all about embracing the freshest ingredients to design menus brimming with vitality and gusto.

 

We're on the lookout for passionate Chefs keen to dive into a kitchen where creativity meets collaboration, creating an atmosphere where culinary skills truly flourish.

 

The Principals typically enjoy two meals a day, including lunch and dinner, relishing a diverse palette that spans Mediterranean to Japanese and South Asian cuisines. Their sophisticated taste buds are a testament to their appreciation for quality and diversity.

 

The Role at a Glance:

 

  • Menu Development: Create innovative, health-conscious menus that emphasise the use of fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced and grown ingredients. Design recipes that cater to various dietary preferences, including vegetarian, pescatarian, and gluten-free options.

  • Culinary Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of nutrition and its application in culinary arts. Stay updated on the latest health and wellness trends to incorporate cutting-edge concepts into your culinary offerings.

 

  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency. Adhering to strict food safety protocols, you will ensure that all aspects of food preparation, storage, and service exceed regulatory requirements. The highest attention to detail regrading cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and utensils, creating a sanitary and organised workspace.

  • Procurement and Planning: Manage the ordering, budgets and administration as well as liaising with top local suppliers.

  • Collaboration with Garden Team: Work closely with our garden team to plan and execute harvest schedules. Utilise harvested produce in creative ways to highlight the flavours and nutritional benefits in your dishes.

  • Travel: Travel to the Principals two other residences in the USA circa 3-4 times a year. Ensure continuity with the overall service offering at each location. Collaborate with local suppliers in these regions to enhance your menu offering.
